Planning a workshop
Interactive learning
Learning is more effective when it is combined with activity and reflection. The best form of wisdom is that which comes through experience. Groups arouse empathy and facilitate learning from other members as well as their reflective experiences and role-plays that are commonly shared in group settings. We organize group activities for adults, children, corporates as well as specific labour groups. These are planned and formulated as per the individual need.
Group workshop style
The pattern includes conjoint sessions; small group sessions as well as large public awareness programmesthat include unrelated participants and even the general public. While planning workshops for specific groups (corporate or school or organizations and NGOs) we suggest an incorporation of comparable populationbase that can exchange ideas and reflect. Smaller groups allow for better interpersonal interaction. We use educative sessions for relatives of people with psychological problems and interactive participative workshops for larger groups of adults. For children we have fun filled motivated learning styles compatible with their interest and participation. We have structured modalities for substance use target groups like the class III and class IVtaskforce, labourers, the police force etc. The corporate and pharmaceutical industry workshops are more focused on their area of therapeutic as well as soft skill domain needs.
Interpersonal dynamics
Cohesiveness is a primary therapeutic factor in mitigating change. Feeling one with several others, sharing personal feelings and understanding the plights as well as strengths of others from their viewpoint inculcates of empathy, improves social skills and instils hope. Group members achieve a greater level of self-awareness through the course of interacting with others in the group. Their feedback impacts and influences each participant’s behaviour. It may help attain greater levels of insight into the origin of one’s problems and the unconscious motivations that underlie one’s performance.
MINDFRAMES group therapy and workshops
MINDFRAMES is committed to providing stimulating and impactful learning experience. The group sessions not only provide information, but also, enable participants to understand concepts and acquire newer skills, thereby encouraging them to develop emotionally, intellectually, socially as well as spiritually. The sessions may involve small groups with 5 to 6 participants to allow more personal interaction as well as large group programs with 20 to 25 people allowing for greater interpersonal focus. Our larger public awareness programmes have addressed over 500 people in single sittings. Such workshops and sessions are interactive, participative and accompanied by audio-visual aids to offer multi-sense modalities to keep focus and enrich the emotive experience. Take home material and homework may also be offered at the end of the session. This facilitates activity-assisted learning, and is a good platform for building social skills and enhancing one’s social quotient (SQ). The net gain is a supra-maximal learning experience, which gets clubbed with idea exchange through interaction.
